Weeks 16-17

 Eliana has been enjoying looking at her soother in her crib lately, so we have been doing some tummy time in here in addition to her play mat.

 Above Eliana grabbing her Mr. Octopus. She seems as if she is starting to get frustrated that he won't come closer when she grabs him. Below pic, Eliana says, "I love grabbing both my feet. It is sooo fun!"

 Wooo Oooh, woo ooh. Eliana loves exploring with her voice lately...

 Grab the rattle, and into the mouth it goes. Everything goes into the mouth lately.

 Eliana has been practicing standing. She really seems to enjoy this.

 Hi Mommy

 I see you Mommy. Eliana's vision is getting stronger. She often looks across the room for faces that  moved away, or if mommy or daddy talk to her from across the room. Papa played with Eliana while Mom got to go the the gym since it is too hot to run outside now. Hopefully Mom and Ellie can get on a schedule where they can do runs together outside more often.

 Another rattle into the mouth. Eliana says, "I wish these rattles were a little lighter so I could hold onto them for longer."

 Hello!!

 Big girl had her 4 month check up at the doctor's office today.  Her weight is still at the 95%, and her height is 75th% for age. Her head is right at the 50%.  Eliana did great with her shots; she hardly cried at all! Mom and Grandma were proud. Daddy had to miss it because he was out of town.

 4 months old this past Saturday. Eliana was able to sit by herself for a little bit while Mommy took pictures. She has been completely propped against the chair for her other month old pics.

A big thanks to Grandma for helping Mommy take care of Eliana this weekend while Dad was out of town. Grandma sure was a big help. Mom got to go to church by herself,  starbucks, and one of her favorite clothes stores. Mom really appreciated all the help!

Weeks 15-16

 Hello there. I was able to sit for 10 seconds by myself this week!

 Snoozing. I must have been really tired because I didn't even wake up when Mommy and Daddy moved me in here! I never do that!!

 Checking out my jumperoo. I am starting look at all these fun things instead of just chew on the front.

 Well hello there Mommy. Could I look my Dad any more here??:)

 Eliana is really lifting her head high these days. She is really arching that back to get that head up to see everything.

 Playing with the bumblebee on her chair. This was new for her. She usually just watches mommy play with it.

 I'm ready to go into the City Mom. This was Eliana's first trip alone with mom for a longer distance. Mommy was pretty scared, but Ellie did great. We had so much fun too; we got to hang out with Jess and Aven in their new apartment. We got to take a stroll to starbucks downtown too. We had a good time!

 Hello Daddy...I am getting stronger in here I think...

Hi Mommy.  Eliana sporting her carebears shirt that was a hand me down from Lily and Lexi. Mom was excited when Aunt Cristin brought it because she loved carebears when she was little.

Weeks 14-15, Family visits

 Eliana had fun seeing her Uncle Mike, Grandma, and Grandpa LeBlanc again for her baptism, and she was so excited to meet her Aunt Katie. Ellie is happy to have Uncle Mike and Aunt Katie for Godparents.

 Eliana had so much fun seeing her Auntie Cristin again, and she was excited to see cousins Lily and Lexi again too. Ellie was happy they were all able to come to her baptism.

 Lily and Lexi were very sweet to Eliana, and even let their mom hold her for a while without getting too jealous. It was a very short visit, but so fun for everyone to be together!

 Look at me!! My first time in my Jumperoo! I am doing pretty good in here. I have to say, my favorite part right now is biting on the cloth in front of my face:)

 Hi there Mommy. Eliana has been lifting herself up from a lounging position lately. She does this while in her boppy pillow, swing, nap nanny, and bouncy chair.  Hey, I want to get up okay?

I have also been enjoying lifting my feet up lately. They are sure fun to hold too...

Weeks 13-14

 Oooohhhh. Eliana has been exploring with her voice lately. She loves to oohh oohh continuously.

 Not now Mom, I'm watching T.V. The T.V has been a good distraction for Ellie while Mom cooks dinner lately. She usually watches from her Nap Nanny though. The bright lights and noises seem to excite her quite a bit! She often oohs and goos back at the T.V.

 Having fun with my jungle friends. Eliana got to wear one of her warmer outfits from Lily and Lexi this week. It was actually in the 50s in the morning. Amazing for the beginning of May!

 I really tired myself out playing! I even fell asleep by myself in my crib without being rocked or anything! I never do that.

 Strawberry cuteness! My mom loves when I make this face. I am just having fun in my crib...

 I'm ready to go Mommy. Eliana and Mom ran some errands together this week. Only short distances, but my mom is getting more brave about traveling alone with me. I have been pretty good so far.
