23-25 weeks, Eliana visits Nana and Papa's Cabin

 Eliana has been enjoying reading the paper with Papa. She loves to crunch it, and wishes we would let her eat it too.

 Eliana has still been enjoying playing with her toys at dinner time in her high chair. She has also been practicing with an empty sippy cup. She found the mouthpiece here, but generally likes to eat the whole cup. She will actually get to try a sip of water and some real food at the end of this coming week.

 Eliana has really been reaching for her toys lately. She is becoming very aware of her surroundings and is trying pick up everything she sees. She is also starting to prefer adult things over her toys if they are both next to one another. She really likes Mommy's watch, phone, and T.V remote. She actually cried last week when Mom took away a magazine she was trying to eat. She just couldn't understand that isn't the cleanest thing to be eating.

 Ellie on her tummy. It has been tough to do lately, as all she wants to do is sit. Hopefully she will gain more of an interest again sometime soon.

 Eliana's first car trip. We went to Nana and Papa's cabin in Athens, Tx for the weekend. It was about a 3 1/2 hour drive. Although Ellie hardly slept, she did pretty well just hanging out looking at things.

Eliana's trip to Boulder

 Eliana has been playing with her mouth a lot lately...

 How cute am I? Eliana loves just opening her mouth lately, even if she can't get anything in there. I think she may have been going for Dad's hair here though.

 Mom, Dad, and I went for a hike on one of the trails in Auntie's neighborhood. Pretty cool to have a hike so close!

 I didn't take my nap earlier, so I got really tired on the hike. Apparently I can sleep standing up!

 In my high chair for the very first time. Aunt Cristin gave me one of the Girls' old chairs. I am really liking it so far. I have sat in here the past few nights at dinner while Mom and Dad eat.
