Eliana's first trip to Oregon

My Mommy loves looking at the back of my head. She figured out it is because it reminds of her Daddy. Can you see the resemblance?
Checking out my uncles playing basketball
Fun times with Daddy, Uncle Dan, and Uncle Mike
Hello Mommy! I sure am enjoying this cool Oregon air.
Eliana meets Great Gramps. Aunt Katie making introductions.
 Chillin with Great Gramps
 Having fun with Grandpa
Eliana's toy nest in Grandma and Grandpa LeBlanc's house
Sitting in my Daddy's old high chair having breakfast with my grandparents and Uncle Dan. Pretty cool huh?
Checking out the cool bridge my Grandpa made at the Prop. He even made me my very own sign with my name and date I first visited the prop. How cool is that? I got to meet my great-grandma too.

I got to see my Godmother Katie again, and also got to meet some more of Daddy's cousins, Aunts, and Uncles.
I sure enjoyed my time with my Grandma.
Whoops. I need my seat rearranged.
 That is better...
Enjoying the cool evening on the deck in the backyard. We ate dinner outside almost every night; fun!
 Uncle Mike being silly
 First time with the carrots!!
My Grandpa was telling me something very interesting.
I got to go on a hike with my Daddy, Mommy, Grandpa, Uncle Mike, Great Aunt Mary, and Great Uncle Mike. I got to see lots of cool waterfalls, and TREES; my favorite!
 Grandpa carried me!
Phone is for you, Uncle Mike
Some of my other family drove down from Eugene to meet me. I got to meet Great Aunt Trish, Great Uncle Steve, Sarah, and Isaiah.

Carrots again. They are growing on me.
 More please Mommy...
I took a stroll with Daddy, Mommy, and Grandpa. We went on a 4 mile walk around the neighborhood. I got to stroll through part of the wilderness park, and was happy to see all the trees. My Daddy used to walk through the park to get to school. Cool huh? The weather was so nice, and I didn't get so hot like back home.
 Yes? Tell me more Grandpa.
We stopped by Great Unlce Mike's house on the way back from our walk to see his bee hive. Don't worry, Mommy didn't let me get very close.
Back home from the walk. It was fun, but I'm ready to eat!
Enjoying the backyard. It was sooooo green, and lots of trees. I sure liked it!

I sure liked all the attention I got during my visit.

 Taking a snooze with Grandma.

I sure will miss my Grandma and Grandpa. They were very sweet to me!!

New Sounds and Sleeping in my Crib

Good Morning!  Eliana has been sleeping in her crib for the past week and a half or so! Mom and Dad are so proud. She still wakes up between 7 and 8 times during the night, but we are hoping this is partly due to her cold. She has been sleeping on her Nap Nanny so she can stay elevated while she still has the cold. Hopefully she will still go to sleep in her crib without it. This is a HUGE improvement, as sleep has been an issue for the past 2 months. Ellie was not sleeping well at night, nor was she napping well. She would just scream in her crib, and we would either have to lay by her side on the floor singing her to sleep, or often once all other options failed, Mom had been sitting in the rocker with her for up to two hours!! So, we still have some work to do, but overall, much improved!

Above (hopefully they work) are some videos of Eliana being more active in her jumperoo, and also making some of her new noises.

25-27 weeks, Eliana has her first food

Am I a big girl or what? First ride in my running stroller without my car seat. Pretty cool too; the seat adapter turned into a tray holder for my toys!
Ready to check out my new seat!
Hello Mommy...I am having fun with my toys. Eliana has been playing with her toys on a blanket instead of her activity mat lately. The activity mat started to seem small, and she didn't seem as interested.
Yowsa. I didn't know by diving forward, I would end up on my tummy. I would like to sit up again, Mom.
Seriously Mom? Why do I have to sit here??
Chillin with Papa. Eliana enjoyed a different view of her chair.
Eliana has been making some new sounds lately. She is "talking" much more, and Mom and Dad have been enjoying listening to her. Mom caught some on video, so we will see if we can figure out how to make the videos work better before posting it. Ellie is mainly saying ya ya ya ya, and ba ba ba ba...Very cute!
Later in the day...Okay, I guess I will pose for my 6 month picture now.
Eliana had her first food for her 6 month birthday. She did really well, and everyone was proud. She had her Grandma, Nana and Papa, Aunt Norvia, Cousin Abby, and Grandma and Grandpa LeBlanc, and Uncle Mike (present via Skype) all there for the occasion. She had cereal and breastmilk; mainly breastmilk, but she did really well eating off her spoon!
Enjoying my dinner, and all the attention...
Daddy takes a turn feeding me!

I sure had fun skyping with my Grandma and Grandpa LeBlanc. Uncle Mike had to leave, but I got see him for a little while.
I sure love my Daddy! Out to brunch with some friends after church.

Hanging with my Aunt Norvia and cousin Abby. They came over so my Mom could get some stuff done around the house. Mom had to get the house looking good for the realtor's photographer to come this past Friday. Our house is now officially listed on the market. For sale sign in the yard and everything. Hard to believe we are moving to England. It still doesn't seem real. We got my passport several weeks ago, and are waiting for my visa to process. Crazy huh?
Here I am with Mom and Dad before they head out to Dad's work safety picnic. It was an Astros game, and I was supposed to go, but I was still sick, so I stayed home, and Grandma came to take care of me. Such a bummer that I got sick too. It was from the doctor's office at my 6 month check up. No fair; shots, and I end up with a cold. I am getting better, but it is still lingering, and now my mom has it too.
Hi Daddy. Eliana hasn't done much more eating since she got sick right around the time she started eating. I tried some zucchini with Mommy's new baby food maker, and then went back to cereal. I have to say, I really just don't feel like trying to eat when I am still so stuffy. I promise I will do better when I am well:)
Poor little sicky face. Eliana really has been a champ, and in good spirits considering she is sick. She even tries to soothe herself back to sleep (a huge sometimes) when she wakes up coughing. Poor girl...I sure hope I am better for the plane ride later this week to Oregon. I am really excited to see all of my Oregon family though!! Say a little prayer for my health.
