April/May Happenings

I just love walking all our gravel driveway! It is soooo fun.
 See ya,  Mom and Dad
Dress up! This is a new class Mom has been taking me to. It is like a music/imaginary play kind of thing. I am not sure why Mom has these wings on me!

Sunshine! The first we have seen in a long long time. Here we are on our way to the bookstore. I slept too late to make it to library time, so we thought we would check this out. It has a little play area for kids too. I had fun running around while Mom looked at some new books for me.
Ready for swimming! I am getting a little more used to swimming now, and not so clingy to mom. It is fun to look at the other babies, and to splash around in the water. I also LOVE when mom blows bubbles in the water! I don't really care to be on my back in the water, but I will let Mom lay me on my tummy more now.
This rain jacket Grandma got me for Christmas sure is coming in handy lately. We have had the wettest April on record for South England; from what we have heard anyway. We are getting sick of the rain!!!
Balls! Oh, how I love balls, so this was just amazingly perfect! This is a place called soft play. Mom took me here one day instead of going to our usual playgroup; just to try something new. We met my friends Lewis and Thomas there. This was probably my favorite thing, though I did have fun walking around on the mats, and I even crawled through a tunnel! I wasn't sure how to get out once I was in though, so mom had to pull me out:)
Take the balls out, and put them back in...
Now, prance all around with the balls. I tried these little scooter things you see the girl on in the background, and they were fun, but a little hard to keep my balance driving around.
Here we are back at music/imaginary play group. I am getting a little more used to it, and pay a little more attention instead of going off on my own so much:)
This is not a toy. Mom kept telling me, but I guess I didn't "hear" her. I think it was a little boy's.
This is something we have gone to a couple times recently called Messy Church. The Baptist church (where I have my playgroup) puts it on. This is something they just started, and will run temporarily through July. It was pretty fun. They have a lot of stuff for big kids like crafts and stuff,  but they did leave out some of the toys they have at playgroup, so that was fun. They also play a slideshow of the pictures they take during the play time, and then play music and dance. Here I am on stage. I jumped right up to be with the big kids dancing. My friend Lewis' older brother Thomas is up here. I had fun looking at everyone.
Oh, how I love my mom's water bottle. It is the coolest!
Yes, I am screaming crying even though I am at a fun group. What can I say? I really wanted to empty out mom's purse, and the zipper was closed.
Guess I am okay now. Look at everyone!
Yay for bubbles!! I LOVE bubbles, and the teacher was running around blowing them out of a pipe!
Clothes. I love to dig through clothes and throw them on the ground. Though I am not responsible for the ones you see here:)
Mom, can you please take this thing off of me?? I really don't understand why I have to wear this. Annoying!!

Trip to Italy/Easter

So, excuse the order of the pictures. Somehow they got moved all around after Mom uploaded them.

This is up on the rooftop of our hotel eating my dinner. Pretty nice way to dine if you ask me.
Soaking in every drop of sunshine:)
Out to lunch in Positano. We basically went to lunch everyday, and then mom and dad would just have a snack of salami, cheese, and bread for dinner in the hotel since I had to go to bed. They were excited that they got a big enough room this time that they didn't have to eat in complete silence in the dark. They could keep a few lamps on, and talk in a whisper voice. They watched movies with earphones on the iPad for entertainment. This lunch was especially good, and my waiter was so funny! He was really sweet to me.

Relaxing on the beach after lunch
 Mom really likes this photo
She thinks this one is pretty cute too:)
We made it to Naples!! Now we have a car ride to Positano. Should take a few hours...Almost there!
Living the life of luxury in this enormous bathtub!!
Dad surprised Mom with a dinner brought up to our room from the hotel. It was really fancy; they set the table all nice as you can see, and brought all the food in courses. Mom thought she was really out on a date at a restaurant! Mom and Dad were a bit nervous though since I was sleeping right inside the sliding glass door, and the waitress had to keep coming and going with the dishes. Mom and Dad didn't really know it would be so extravagant with serving. Thankfully, I did not wake up!!
First course of soup. Yum! Mom and Dad were pretty hungry by then.
 Out on our balcony.

 Chilling on the balcony

Walking through town. Mom loved how this little walkway looked with the tree branches and greenery. You can't see it very well, but there were also beautiful purple flowers on top here.
What a view! The Amalfi Coast was stunning, despite all the days of rain we experienced.
Grabbing a cocktail (not me, I had juice) and a snack.

Walking to church on Easter Sunday.
In town after finishing lunch on Easter
Easter lunch. I had ravioli; it was quite yummy!
Enjoying all the people watching.

Isn't my Daddy cute? He sure was enjoying his gelati.

Back at our hotel room, and out on our balcony. It is really fun to walk around out here, and go in and out of the sliding door!
View of the church from the beach.
Taking a stroll along the beach after our lunch. It actually wasn't raining for a minute!
I sure am having fun riding around with Daddy in this thing. Mom and Dad recently purchased a new baby bjorn that is for big kids, like me:)
Hi Dad! I love running all around our room.  Isn't my Easter dress from Nana pretty?
Sunshine! Hooray! We had two beautiful days of perfect weather. Here we are in Amalfi Town. We stayed in Positano, but took a bus here for the day. We were going to take a boat, but they weren't running. I had fun here, and the waiters seemed to like me:)

This was on the bus on the way to Amalfi Town. I was so tired, I was finally able to pass out on mom's lap. This bus ride was not so great. Not much ventilation, very crowded, and HOT. Mixed with the super winding roads, mom and dad started getting car sick. They were very glad I fell asleep. We were also standing for a long time, but then someone offered their seat. We sure wish we could have taken the boat!

Walking around Amalfi Town.

Relaxing at the beach
I had so much fun playing on this beach in Amalfi Town. It was really pretty!

This is back in our stomping ground; Positano. This was the other beautiful day filled with plenty of sunshine!
Good thing Nana and Papa brought me this pretty sunhat when they came to visit. Came in handy today!
Taking a little hike over to a more private beach that the locals use
On that beach, only saw one other couple. I ate some strawberries.
This is for Papa. Mom couldn't believe when she saw these. They are miniature lamb cakes that look like the regular sized lamb cake that Papa makes every year for Easter. So fun!
Our last day. Boo. Of course, this day was beautiful too! This is outside our hotel. Too bad we didn't get a picture of our hotel. Everyone was super nice and friendly there. They all loved talking to me, and would say "Ciao Bellissimo, or Ciao Principesa. Mom is not sure how to spell these words, but they sounded so lovely coming from the Italians. They also really liked my Italian name. "Ciao Eliana." It was fun to get so much attention!
Last time on the balcony!
View from the balcony
This was the longest lunch ever! We figured out maybe they weren't open for lunch, but didn't want to tell us? Mom's food was good, but Daddy's and mine were not so great. We were surprised because we liked most everything else we ate while were there.
About to head to the airport in Naples. Ciao!!
